I’ve BeenEverywhere, an Australian ballad originallywritten by Geoff Mack in 1959. The song is written all about an Australian man whois a traveller describes all the Australian cities and towns, he has beenaround. Though the song was written in 1959 by Geoff Mack originally, the songis recorded and made popular by Australian singer, Lucky Star in 1962.

Over years, the songhas been adapted by the Australian singer Rolf Harris with Scottish and Englishtoponyms and the New Zealand versions toponyms are adapted by John Hore laterknown as John Grenell. New Zealand version was recorded in 1966. Eventually,Geoff Mack also written the American version replacing the original cities andtowns names with the American towns and cities.
